2023 Spring Soccer Season Q & A

Spring Soccer Season is upon us and we are excited. There are so many opportunities for our kids to learn and grow through soccer. But before the season even starts, there are a ton of questions to answer so you can make a decision about signing up your child. 

Lots of these questions can only happen after we see who is interested so here is information that we have now and we will keep posting as we know more. 

Recommendation: If you are interested, please start the registration process for your child and if you're not sure yet, you can wait to pay. That will give us a sense of who is interested and give us your contact information so we can keep you updated as we make more decisions. We can lock you in at the early bird rate if you start your registration before February 4.

Time Commitment:

For 5-12 year olds we'll be running 2 practices per week plus one game/scrimmage per week, possibly on Saturdays. practices will be typically the same time and day each week in April and May. We will start when the snow melts off the field. Optional: There may be tournaments around the state that your child can participate in if a coach or family is interested to get greater practice. 

For 13 - 19 year olds, Practices will be up to 3 times per week and travel to play teams around the state on weekends. 

Location

Practices will be at the new Soccer Field at Coal Miners Park on top of the hill across from the baseball fields. 

Games

We are hoping for enough players from across Carbon County to have our own league and play each other in Red Lodge. 

Coaches

We are having a coaching meeting on January 29, if you're interested in helping out this Spring with coaching or assistant coaching or even practice help, please email me with your contact details and interest. We will also be hosting coach training before the season starts to provide tools and answer questions.
